BODYGUARD being the flavour of the season, I shamelessly confess my love for the song 'I love you' but was startled by its remixed version being on air! Toying around with such a lovely composition did not go down too well with me as it sounded a bit unfair... Ofcourse, muddling and remixing the tracks and tunes is very much in vogue these days as it is being received well by the audience However, my strong reluctance to endorse this view stems from the fact that it does injustice to the quality of music. It also brings to the fore the avidity and brusqueness of the youth who seem to lack a certain degree of aesthetic sense and are quite 'okay' with any tacky number on the charts. While catering to such green ears, the classic charm and originality of the song is lost!
In a world of high-speed gadgets sending out a spectrum of noises, the gravity of good music assumes a greater proportion. It allows one to sink in and unwind and clears the mind of its bothersome thoughts. So, I guess it's time to revere the 'empty spaces' between the octaves of music and bring back the lost magic of novelty!

i wholeheartedly agree with u that remixing songs takes out the real flavour from them...But they have to coz that's what the genY prefers.
@Vishy-milesahead Yeah, I guess you sound right...
"In my view, remixing just detaches song from itz soul..
Perhaps todays gen. Mostly Prefers soul less songs...
But the unplugged versions of certain songs lyk 'tujhme rab dikhta h' , 'tu jane na' , Sawariya's 'masha allah' etc. hav proved to be heart touching...
I feel remixing just spoils the spirit of some nice songs lyk 'pee loon' frm once upon tym..
Frankly speaking, the melodious, soul-soothing evergreen beauties of lata, kishore, rafi lyk 'baharon fool barsaon'
'pal pal dil k pas' etc. Realy takes d listner into a beautiful world of melodies...
In front of those heavenly songs these 'so called' remixed rocking pops seems to be 'tasteless' 'soul-less' 'spiritless' nd ol dat u can imagine...
On analysing d things we may conclude that the present day songs, inspite of having advanced digital technologies lacks 'the Essence' 'The magic' which I wonder makes dem 'APART' of evergreen melodies instead making 'A-PART' of them....!!
Shayad kuch zyada hi keh gya... Hehe:-)
